DOMa Lecture featuring Pezo Von Ellrichshausen

AVAX was very happy to help sponsor and provide the furniture for the latest DOMa Lecture which was held on 10.10.2023 at the Benaki Museum.

The distinguished architects Mauricio Pezo and Sofia Von Ellrichshausen of the architectural firm, Pezo Von Ellrichshausen, took to the stage, sharing insights into their elaborate working approach which fluidly moves between art and architecture, creating what they call “architectronic art.”

The architects showcased two broad types of projects: primarily ephemeral architectural installations on a large scale in public areas or within public spaces, within the framework of architectural and other exhibitions worldwide. They also presented permanent structures in Chile and Spain.

The former are designed to shift attention towards the city and its landmarks, whether as a whole or in segments. The latter, predominantly a blend of temporary living spaces and artistic work hubs in pristine, isolated regions, exemplified the architects’ approach to handling spatial arrangements, material composition, and the execution of their creations.
