AVAX and Molteni&C sponsor DOMa Lecture

We were happy to sponsor the most recent DOMa Lecture in collaboration with Molteni&C. Held on Friday, May 16th at the Benaki Museum, the event featured a talk by renowned international architecture firm MVRDV.

Founded in Rotterdam in 1993 by Winy Maas, Jacob van Rijs, and Nathalie de Vries, MVRDV is a collective of over 300 collaborators with projects spanning more than 40 countries. Their work is defined by a deep urban sensitivity and an experimental approach—qualities that resonate closely with the design philosophy of Molteni&C.

In celebration of this shared ethos, we showcased two iconic pieces at the event: the D.153.1 armchair and the D.555.1 side table. Originally designed by Gio Ponti for Molteni&C in the 1950s, both pieces exemplify the timeless elegance and innovation of mid-century Italian design.
