“Leplì Triumphs in 2025; Poltrona Frau Celebrated”

    Poltrona Frau has earned two new international distinctions: the Leplì chair’s victory at the 2025 Archiproducts Design Awards and a special acknowledgment as one of the five most awarded companies in the competition’s ten-year history. The Archiproducts Design Awards, established in 2016 by the global architecture and design platform Archiproducts, are among the industry’s most respected honors. Each year, a jury of leading architects, designers, and creative professionals selects projects that embody exceptional innovation and design quality. In 2025, the Leplì chair by Kensaku Oshiro stood out for its refined balance of elegance and comfort. Its fluid proportions, sculptural and feminine silhouette, and meticulous material selection earned the jury’s admiration, reaffirming Poltrona Frau’s talent for elevating contemporary furniture design through a distinctive and sophisticated aesthetic.
    Marking the tenth anniversary of the awards, Poltrona Frau also received a special honor as one of the five companies —out of over 1,500 entrants— with the most product awards over the past decade. CEO Nicola Coropulis accepted the recognition as a testament to the brand’s sustained dedication to advancing Italian craftsmanship on a global scale.
    Throughout the years, numerous Poltrona Frau designs have been celebrated at the Archiproducts Design Awards, highlighting the brand’s ongoing evolution and its ability to anticipate contemporary living needs: Ming’s Heart (2016),Lloyd (2016), Let it Be (2017), Isadora (2018), Coupè (2019), Archibald Limited Edition Pantone (2022), DUO Lounge (2023), Squash (2024), Parka (2024), and now Leplì (2025). These latest accomplishments reinforce Poltrona Frau’s mission to share authentic Italian design with the world—rooted in heritage, research, and a deep culture of craftsmanship.
